Remembered Topics are provided as a convenience, but be sure you understand them before using them.
Remembered Topics give you a short-cut to return to topics you have previously worked with.
To remember a topic, check the
Remember check-box in the upper right corner, and then click the
Search button.
To return to the topic later, click the word
Remember in the upper right corner. You will return to this
page, where you will see a list of all your remembered topics. Then, click on the topic you want to work with.
When you remember a topic, the name of the topic is saved onto your computer's hard disk. You can remove this
information any time you want, by clicking the
Erase Remembered Topics button on this page.
Anybody who uses your computer can see the topics you have remembered. This is true even if you close the
browser program. This can be a great convenience to you, because it means you don't have to get everything
done in one session.
There is a time limit on remembered topics. They are visible to you for days after you last
remember a topic.
A few more details:
- Whenever you remember a topic, it is added to the topics you have previously remembered.
This means you can remember multiple topics.
- No information is saved to your disk unless the Remember box is checked AND the Search button are clicked.
